Dean of Industry Institute Interaction and Institutional Relations shall function:
To have liaison with the Government agencies to explore and seek projects and prepare the necessary proposals and carry out the required follow-ups;
To have liaison with the National Level Sponsoring Agencies, Government as well as non-Government, other Educational Institutions and Research Organizations, to seek the opportunity of industrial collaboration and prepare the necessary proposals and carry out the required follow-Ups;
To seek international collaborations for academic excellence and obtain the Government approval wherever necessary. He will prepare the necessary proposals & will carry out the required follow-ups
To be the Nodal Coordinator at the University level for all the Industrial Collaboration at various colleges and provide necessary guidance to the colleges to encourage and promote such activities:
To monitor the Memorandum of Understanding, signed in this regard and monitor their progress and report to appropriate bodies of the University;
To plan the expansion and diversification of institutional activities and preparation of developmental proposals in consultation with Estate department.
To monitor the activities related to Skill Development;
To perform all such other duties as may be determined by the Board of Management or the Vice Chancellor in this regard.
All faculty members are requested to contribute their knowledge/research/skills and potential through this office of Dean III&IR for all outreach activities. Faculty members may approach this office for proposals of industrial collaboration, institutional linkages, sponsored projects with other agencies. However, for all such activities, the RTU would enter into an MoU with the external unit. A draft of MoU should bear the following for the clarity of both the parties.
