Kota, January 18 – Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota, has achieved a significant milestone by successfully conducting mercy examinations under the visionary leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. S.K. Singh. The university has aligned its examination systems with the National Education Policy (NEP), reflecting its commitment to innovation and student-centric practices.
According to RTU's Public Relations Officer, Dr. S.D. Purohit, the university's examination department, under the guidance of Controller of Examinations Dr. VivekPandey, successfully conducted 438 examinations for 2,138 registered students across B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, MBA, and MCA programs. These examinations were conducted seamlessly over 55 days, from October 1 to December 13, 2024. This achievement underscores RTU's dedication to providing students with fair and timely opportunities to complete their academic courses.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. S.K. Singh stated, "The successful organization of mercy examinations not only brings relief to students but also offers them a chance to secure a brighter academic future. The commitment and diligence of the examination controller and his team in accomplishing this task are commendable. By incorporating reforms in examination systems aligned with the National Education Policy, we are facilitating students in completing their technical education programs on time. It is a matter of pride that we have provided an equitable opportunity for students to complete their degree courses, thereby fostering confidence among them."
Dr. VivekPandey, Controller of Examinations, highlighted that the university is setting new benchmarks under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Prof. S.K. Singh. "The mercy examinations were specifically designed for students who could not clear their pending papers within the stipulated duration and permissible attempts. Prioritizing the interests of these students, we have provided them with an opportunity to build a brighter future in technical education."
