Mission and Vision of the Department
Mission (B.Tech)
To offer Electrical Engineering undergraduate, post graduate and PhD level programmes that augment the liberal education expected from students and to impart basic understanding of Electrical Engineering to students, built on the foundation of physical science, mathematics, computing and technology. Students of the undergraduate program are expected to possess knowledge of the fundamentals of electrical engineering and of at least one specialty area.
Vision (B.Tech)
The graduates are expected to have the basic experimental, design and communication skills to be prepared for continued study. The students should be able to specialize and excel their field of specialization in terms of design, implementation, experimentation and validation. The research students are expected to excel and master in understanding, study, experimentation, exploring, investigating, conclusion, validation and development of research problem and research methodology in their respective research area.

1. To provide quality engineering education to the students and also in inculcating high ethical moral & social values amongst the students.
2. To offer state of art education in Electrical Engineering.
3. To establish Industry Institute Interaction to make students ready for the industrial environment and to aware them about the practical problems.
4. To provide students with hands on training on latest technology with supporting software for the need of the industries.
5. To promote research based projects/activities to develop department as Centre of Excellence for research for increase the value of our students.
