Programme Outcomes (POs)
1. To prepare graduates with a solid foundation in engineering, Science and Technology for a successful career in Electrical Engineering.
2. To prepare graduates to become effective collaborators / innovators in efforts to address social, technical and engineering challenges.
3. To prepare graduates to engage in professional development through self-study, graduate and professional studies in engineering & business.
4. To equip graduates with integrity and ethical values so that they become responsible Engineers.
BASIS OF PGOGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)
• Technical Knowledge
Provide a basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles along with the required supporting knowledge of mathematics, science, computing, and engineering fundamentals. The program must include depth in at least one specialty area, currently including Electrical machines, Power system, Power Electronics and Drives, Computer Hardware, Computer Software, Controls, Electronics, Fields and Waves, and Communication and Signal Processing etc.
• Laboratory and Design Skills
Develop the basic skills needed to perform and design experimental projects. Develop the ability to formulate problems and projects and to plan a process for solution taking advantage of diverse technical knowledge and skills.
• Communications Skills
Develop the ability to organize and present information and to write and speak effective English.
• Preparation for Further Study
Provide sufficient breadth and depth for successful subsequent graduate study, post-graduate study, or lifelong learning programs.
• Preparation for the Profession
Provide an appreciation for the broad spectrum of issues arising in professional practice, including teamwork, leadership, safety, ethics, service, economics, and professional organizations.

1. To prepare students to excel in postgraduate programmes and to succeed in industry, technical profession through global, rigorous education.
2. To provide students with a solid foundation in mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamentals required to solve electrical power system engineering problems and also to pursue higher studies.
3. To inculcate in students professional and ethical attitude, effective communication skills, teamwork skills, multidisciplinary approach and an ability to relate engineering issues to broader social context.
4. To provide students with an academic environment aware of excellence, leadership, written ethical codes and guidelines, and the life-long learning needed for a successful professional career as an engineers, scientists, technocrats, administrators and an entrepreneur.
